🍽️ Bama Fragrant Pig
Introduction:
Mini pig from Bama, tender roasted or boiled.
Detailed Introduction:
Bama Fragrant Pig is a prized miniature pig breed from Bama Yao Autonomous County in Hechi, Guangxi. Bama is known as a longevity county, and its fragrant pig is small-statured, with tender meat, thin skin, fine bones and evenly distributed fat. It is cooked in many ways: white-cut, poached and sliced, best shows the natural flavor, with thin tender skin dipped in ginger sauce; roasted whole fragrant pig, with crisp skin and tender meat, is a banquet centerpiece; it can also be slow-simmered or quickly stir-fried. Because the pig is small, roasting a whole or half animal looks elegant on the table. It is both the centerpiece meat at Bama festival feasts and a must-try flavor for visitors to the longevity county. Raised in Bama's clean hills and waters, this little pig is treated as a calling card of local ecological food.
